On August 4, 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.

At the International Airport of Turkmenbashi, the distinguished guest was warmly welcomed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, who thanked the head of the friendly state for accepting the invitation to take part in the International Forum held in Turkmenistan.

“It is a great honor for me to take part in this representative Conference,” said President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, expressing confidence that the decisions taken within the framework of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which is taking place on the Caspian coast, will be successfully implemented.

As noted, the results of the International Forum, the agenda of which includes issues aimed at solving urgent problems of our time, are intended to promote further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between countries. Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome provided on Turkmen soil, the distinguished guest wished success to the work of the International Conference.
