Today, as part of a state visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov is taking part in the 7th Consultative meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia.
The Presidents of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Azerbaijan are participating in the VII Consultative meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia.
At the forum, as part of the economic partnership, the heads of state are discussing issues related to expanding mutual trade, deepening investment cooperation, and developing important transport and logistics links. Furthermore, special attention is being paid to coordinating efforts in water management, energy, cultural and humanitarian affairs, and healthcare.
Turkmenistan, in accordance with its legal status of permanent neutrality recognised by the international community, is actively participating in this dialogue to develop agreed solutions to common issues.
Initiatives of Turkmenistan within the framework of the Consultative meetings are always comprehensive and aimed at enhancing security and sustainable development in the entire Central Asian region. This confirms the constructive role our country plays in this format of cooperation.
