Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Kim Bo-Hyun, head of company «Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.» who arrived in our country to participate in celebrations dedicated to International neutrality day and the 30^th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the time devoted to the meeting, the businessman congratulated the head of state and the entire Turkmen people on International neutrality day and the 30^th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.

Warmly welcoming the guest, the head of state emphasised his pleasure in hosting him on Turkmen soil during the International conference on the occasion of the International year of peace and trust, International neutrality day, and the 30^th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan. He expressed confidence that this Forum would become an important platform for strengthening global peace, a culture of mutual trust, and finding joint solutions to pressing problems.

The President expressed confidence that the results of the visit would give new impetus to the expansion of bilateral ties between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea.

As noted, Turkmenistan highly values the relations established with the Republic of Korea. Cooperation between the two countries is consistently developing based on the principles of mutual respect, trust, and understanding.

For many years, major Korean companies have been working in our country to implement large-scale projects in the oil, gas, and chemical industries. This provides a powerful impetus for the development of bilateral economic cooperation. In this context, the head of state emphasised the effective partnership established with the company «Daewoo».

The President of Turkmenistan noted that the company is currently constructing a new mineral fertilizer production complex at the Turkmenabat chemical plant in the Lebap velayat. The head of state expressed confidence that the Korean company will complete this project with high quality and on time, implement new modern technologies and high-performance equipment, and continue to effectively implement projects of national and regional significance in our country.

Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the high level of trust placed in him and the favourable conditions created for fruitful work in the promising Turkmen market, Kim Bo-Hyun assured the head of state that the company he leads will fulfil its contractual obligations at a high level.
