State Maritime and River Transport Service has implemented the state plan for January by 117 percent. The pace of growth in the cargo transportation and delivery of the services was 101 percent. According to the Ministry of Railway Transport, growth rate of passenger traffic in the sector has amounted to 100.2 percent.   According to the Ministry of Road Transport growth rate of work performed is 103 percent. This figure in cargo transportation has reached 104 percent, and in passenger transportation sector - 101.4 percent. In January the growth rate of the work, performed by the Ministry of Communications, was 102 per cent. According to the State National Service “Turkmenhowayollary”, provided air transportation services growth rate has reached 103 percent in the first month of the current year. This indicator for freight and passenger transportation amounted to, respectively, 107 and 103 percent.
