A modern efficient power supply system is being created in a new urban-type settlement (currently under construction) in “Täze Ýol” gengeshlik, Kounyaurgench etrap. To date, specialists of “Ýupek Ýoly” Economic Association have installed over 20 kilometers of 10 and 0.4-kV power transmission lines, built 7 integrated transformer substations and an extensive street lighting system with more than 400 street lamps. Being built by the same builders, an electric power substation, “Nur”, with two high-performance transformers, will ensure constant power supply. A new 4.5-km-long transmission line from the operational substation, “Novcha” has also been laid. In Turkmenistan, where private business development enjoys great support, local industrialists and entrepreneurs are participating more and more actively in the large-scale programs aimed at the further modernization of the national economy and improvement of housing conditions for the population of villages, settlements and cities, including the most remote and smallest communities. Thanks to considerable state support for small and medium business, large enterprises, capable to tackle important tasks, have been created in the country. Ýupek Ýoly” Economic Association, which serves as an eloquent example, is actively carrying out a number of various construction projects. In particular, specialists of the enterprise are currently constructing a power supply system in a new modern village, “Bagtyyar Zaman” in J. Khudaibergenov gengeshlik, S. A. Niyazov etrap, and a large cattle farm for the production of milk and meat in Rukhubelent etrap. The construction of a water intake facility in Kounyaurgench etrap is nearing an end.
