Today in Minsk, in the Palace of Sports, XXI international sambo tournament of category ""A"" - open championship of Byelorussia in sports and combat sambo for the prizes of President Alexander Lukashenko has finished. On the second day of competitions the national team of Turkmenistan has won five more medals - two gold, two silver and one bronze. The day before our compatriots became owners of seven awards-4 gold, silver and 2 bronze medals that secured for Turkmen nationals first place in the team event: they passed ahead of Russians and the host of the championship who shared the second place among themselves. On the second day the number of medals of the team of Turkmenistan grew to 12and 6 of which were gold. It secured for our national team the third place in the team event. And, by ""gold"" medals we have gained equal quantity as Russians who have taken second place. First of all, we will note the victory of master of sports of international class, participant of the Olympic Games -2016 in Rio de Janeiro - Gulbadam Babamuradova. She gained three victories with a clear advantage: at first over sportswoman from Kazakhstan Gulnur Erbolova, then ahead of schedule won Belarus sambo wrestler Alesya Mlechko and in the final left no chance to the world champion - Marina Zharsky from Belarus. Gulbadam successfully performs not only in competitions in sambo, but also in belt wrestling and judo. So, in the Pre-Olympic tournaments of a series of Grand prix in Japanese style in 2015 and 2016 she became winner for several times. In the world university games-2013 in Kazan G.Babamuradova won a gold medal in belt wrestling. And here now –»gold"" medal in the open championship of Byelorussia. In the same category the third place was won by Hurma Abdyeva (under 52 kg): for a bronze award she won the sportswoman from Belarus. One more gold medal for our team was brought by Serdar Hojamuhammedov (under 90 kg). The repeated winner of various competitions of world and continental level confidently enough won in the final with the score 6:2 the representative of the Belarus national team - Pavel Masalsky. The silver award was won by triple champion of Asia Kerim Allanurov in sports sambo (under 57 kg). In the final he in persistent wrestling yielded with the minimum score (0:1) to sambo wrestle from Armenia Grigor Mhitaryan. And, at last, the fifth medal – a silver medal - for achievements of our country in sports was brought by Zafar Madaminov, who caused a stir in the combat sambo tournament in the weight category over 100 kg. Organizers of the open championship of Byelorussia estimated the skill and preparation of our sportsmen, having invited instructors of the national team, honoured trainers of Turkmenistan, brothers Nuryagdy and Mohammed Mammedov (sports version), and also master of sports of the international class of Alai Niyazmenglieva (combat style) to participate in the ceremony of awarding of winners and prize-winners. In March in the capital of the Russian Federation - Moscow the next stage of draw of the World Cup «Memorial of Harlampieva» where the national team of our country will take part will be also held.
