In Turkmenistan, the celebration of International Children’s Day was marked on a grand scale. The events being held vividly demonstrated that in our independent Homeland, caring for the younger generation remains a key priority of the state policy initiated by Hero-Arkadag and now successfully implemented by the President of Turkmenistan. The main festivities dedicated to this special occasion took place in the capital at the “Aşgabat” Cultural and Entertainment Center.

Filled with joy, laughter, songs, and music, the celebrations at the the “Aşgabat” Cultural and Entertainment Center gave children unforgettable moments that will remain in their hearts forever. As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted in his Address to the happy children and people of independent, neutral Turkmenistan, this holiday occupies a special place in the life of society during the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State and reflects Turkmenistan’s commitment to the principles of the United Nations concerning the rights and interests of children. Therefore, together with the international community, we celebrate this day in our beautiful Homeland with great enthusiasm and solemnity.

The festivities were attended by members of the Government, heads of ministries and sectoral agencies, representatives of public organizations, heads and family members of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as musical, vocal, and dance ensembles and young participants.

Speakers congratulated those gathered on International Children’s Day and emphasized that in Turkmenistan, thanks to the constant care of the National Leader of the Turkmen People and the head of state, children are surrounded by tremendous love and attention.

Particular attention was paid to the activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, established through the initiative and efforts of Hero-Arkadag.

UNICEF and Turkmenistan have been carrying out productive work for many years, accumulating valuable experience in joint activities. Collaboration continues to expand in the areas of healthcare and protection of the rights of mothers and children, as well as the upbringing and education of the younger generation based on high moral values. The distinguished guest noted that all of this contributes to the realization of humanity’s noble goals in the name of peace, friendship, and good-neighborly relations.

The joyful voices of happy children rang out, along with inspiring melodies praising the large-scale achievements carried out in the country through the efforts of Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, as well as the peaceful Homeland and our happy era.

The annual celebration of International Children's Day, accompanied by the presentation of gifts to children, is always marked by unforgettable moments. This year's festivities, held during the year designated as "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses," were enriched with new meaning and once again demonstrated the profound humanity of the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

As is known, shortly before the sacred Kurban Bayram holiday, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, held another meeting of the Council of Elders of the Halk Maslahaty and the Board of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. During the meeting, after approving a proposal by members of the Council of Elders to give a worthy name to a newborn girl left without parental care and being raised in an orphanage in Ashgabat, Hero-Arkadag suggested naming the child Arkadag Gyzy Gurbangul in honor of the sacred month of Kurban.

Following the recommendation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, on International Children's Day the girl was presented with the official decision of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship naming her Arkadag Gyzy Gurbangul, along with gifts from the Foundation in honor of the holiday.

Participants in the gift presentation ceremony for newborn girl named Arkadag Gyzy Gurbangul expressed their sincere gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the tremendous attention and care the state provides to children in the sovereign Homeland.

They also conveyed heartfelt appreciation to Hero-Arkadag, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship for the gifts presented and extended their warmest wishes.

The participants then traveled to the modern city of Arkadag. On the occasion of the holiday, children undergoing rehabilitation at the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children's Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadag city received special gifts on behalf of Arkadagly Hero Serdar.

Speakers at the celebration emphasized that the noble initiatives launched by Hero-Arkadag and successfully continued by the President of Turkmenistan during the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State have become a state policy aimed at ensuring social protection, healthy spiritual and physical development, and a happy life for children, who represent the future of the Homeland. This policy further enhances the joy of children surrounded by warmth and kindness.

In keeping with tradition, on International Children's Day, gifts on behalf of Arkadagly Hero Serdar and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship were also presented to the children of the capital’s “Döwletliler Köşgi” Palace.

Graduates received modern laptop computers as gifts from Arkadagly Hero Serdar. These will help young people enter the world of knowledge, explore the vast ocean of science, and become highly qualified professionals in their chosen fields. Guided by Arkadagly Hero Serdar’s initiatives aimed at fostering innovation, today’s youth show a deep interest in the opportunities offered by digital technologies and are actively engaged in scientific research in this field.

At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag for providing them with a happy childhood and extended their best wishes and congratulations.

Large-scale celebrations marking International Children's Day were also held in the city of Arkadag. Major festivities unfolded in the square in front of the Gyorogly State Equestrian Circus of Arkadag city.

Alongside leading performers, the festive concert featured young soloists who are only beginning their artistic careers. Their participation served as a testament to the inexhaustible talent of our people and the continuity of national artistic traditions.

Throughout the concert, warm congratulations and best wishes were extended on the occasion of International Children's Day.

The holiday celebrations concluded with performances by the "Galkynyş" National Equestrian Games Group.

Various events and festivities dedicated to International Children's Day were also held throughout other parts of Arkadag City. All of these activities brought immense joy to children.

The performances by the young artists were filled with great pride in their beloved Homeland, their people, and their national culture and art.

All of this vividly demonstrated that today, thanks to the state's constant attention to ensuring the well-being of young people, providing them with modern education, and involving them in the world of music and creativity, Turkmenistan has become a country of happy childhood.
