During joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council dedicated to the outcomes of the Presidential Elections, the Head of the State made a speech expressing gratitude to those who participated in the voting. The Leader of the Nation expressed the gratitude to the citizens supported his candidature during the elections of the President of Turkmenistan. It is pleasant that the results of the elections are much higher than the ones five years ago, - the Head of the State stated with delight. The outcomes indicates large successes achieved for the past five-year period as well as that everything what is being done in the country is aimed at protection of people’s interests. “I am inspired and happy that my people, having voted for me, again elected me as a Presdient. The trust of the people inspires me for great deeds for the happiness and wellbeing of the nation, for the sake of further prosperity of the Motherland”, - President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said. The results of the elections were visual evidence of entire support of the reforms undertaken for five years as well as confirmation of dynamic development of national economy, positive achievements of our country in foreign policy, steadfast growth of life level of the population. All these successes consolidated the power of sovereign Motherland. “I take the support of my candidacy at this elections as the result of my activity as President of Turkmenistan, our successes and achievements, - the Head of the State mentioned. – I would like to assure you that in coming seven years I will do all my best for provision happy and prosperous life of the people, further improvement of the State, successful and fruitful activity of the Government and the State Security Council and the Mejlis of Turkmenistan”. The President of Turkmenistan outlined continuation of uncompromising counteract and complete elimination of drug addiction and other negative occurrences among forthcoming priority targets. Continuing resting upon neutral legal status of the State in foreign policy, national interests of our independent Motherland will be upheld in the world arena. The Head of the State highlighted that industry will be steadily developed, advanced technologies will be widely implemented and necessary measures for dynamic development of national economy will be undertaken. Our activities will be dedicated to the main objective – provision of happy life of the people, the Leader of the nation said, having expressed firm confidence that all set targets will be successfully achieved.
