The agenda of the working session included the main directions of social and economic development of the country. The heads of region reported over video call on agrotechnical activities, preparation to the coming season and measures for livestock birth campaign. Information on realization of National rural transformation programme as well as the measures implemented for provision of internal markets with vegetables and food products, improvement of farmers’ work efficiency was given. Summing up the reports, the Head of the State focused the attention on priority aspects for each region. Particularly, the necessity of correspondence of the works with modern quality requirements in Ahal velayat was highlighted. The Head of the State gave number of orders to the hyakim of Balkan Velayat for improvement of lands fertility, implementation of advanced practices into agriculture, activation of the reforms in this sphere and preparation of recreation and resort centres of Avaza national tourist zone and other places for the coming summer season. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed the attention of the hyakim of Dashoguz Velayat on the necessity of increase of the rates of work in all spheres of agro industrial complex of the region. The work has to be efficient and give the specific results, - the President of Turkmenistan said, having instructed to prepare properly for the cotton sowing and tree and shrub planting campaign in Lebap and Mary Velayats. Having listened to the report of Hyakim of Ashgabat Sh. Durdyliyev, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that the main city of the country has to be an exemplary by all indicators. It has special importance under the preparation to 2017 Asian Games, - the Head of the State said, having addressed the head of the capital administration with number of assignments for organization of all works in accordance with time demands. After, Vice-premier R. Bazarov spoke over direct video line and reported on the seasonal works in agricultural complex of the country including on the measures undertaking in livestock farms. The main part of the report was dedicated to the preparation of all regions to the cotton sowing. Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that it is necessary to deal properly with the issues of development and provision of efficiency of agro industrial sector, which is one of the leading branches of national economy. For these purposes, it is necessary to continue the work for implementation of advanced practices and modern achievements into agricultural complex, - the Head of the State said. Having dwelt upon the programme of social and economic development of the country, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the Vice-premier with number of objectives for improvement of crop production, accumulation of cotton and vegetable growing, livestock breeding potential and consolidation of production powers of processing industry.
