President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived to Turkmenistan with the government visit. The Leader of Uzbekistan was met by the officials at Ashgabat International Airport decorated by the State Flags of two friendly countries. The Guard of Honour was lined up along the carpet from the plane on honour of the Head of Uzbekistan arrival. Children in national dresses presented the flowers, bread and salt to high-rank guest. From the airport, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan went to the residence allocated for the period of his visit. Today, the Heads of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will have talks, which agenda includes broad spectrum of subjects of Turkmen – Uzbek cooperation in its key directions. Signing of bilateral documents is also planned. The Leaders of both States will address the representatives of mass media. To continue the first day of the visit, it is expected that the Presidents of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will visit Ahalteke Equestrian Complex where according to the tradition, the demonstration of elite horses and the performance of fancy riders are organized for high-rank guests. On March 7, the Leaders of two countries will visit Lebap Velayat where they will participate in the ceremonial opening of railroad and automobile bridges Turkmenabat – Farap.
