Upon completion of the talks, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev headed to the Ahalteke Equestrian Complex located in the picturesque foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains. During the visit to the largest in the region equestrian sports complex, the distinguished guest could see that in Turkmenistan, Ahalteke horses are treated with love and reverential care. The exercising of elite Ahalteke horses was arranged in the complex to welcome the leaders of the two states. Then, the dzhigits from the Galkynysh group displayed their masterly performance and demonstrated the swiftness and beauty of ‘heavenly’ horses.  It should be noted that the group created on the initiative of the Turkmen leader won awards of prestigious international contests and festivals. Today, the Galkynysh group has grown in popularity in foreign countries that vividly proves the everlasting glory of Ahalteke horses. The brilliant art of young Turkmen dzhigits, who follow the traditions of our ancestors, as well as the amazing beauty and gracefulness of ‘heavenly’ horses left a lasting impression on the distinguished guest. A beautiful Ahalteke horse was presented to the people of Uzbekistan on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan as a token of the inviolability of the ties of friendship and good-neighborly relations between the two countries. Cordially thanking for the wonderful gift, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan expressed sincere admiration with the marvelous Turkmen horses as well as modern equestrian complex with all necessary conditions for breeding Ahalteke horses, training jockeys and holding equestrian sports competitions.
