By Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the Day of Transport and Communication Workers has been created. The new professional holiday will be observed annually, on 7 March – the day of commissioning of the highway and railway bridges over the Amudarya River. Pursuant to the document, the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan of 23 January 2015 on “Creating the Day of Workers of the Railway Transport Sphere” shall be deemed void.
