President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held another video-selector meeting with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial sector, heads of several ministries, governors of the velayats and Ashgabat. Through to a direct video link, the hakims of the velayats reported on the state of affairs in the agro-industrial complex of the regions, carried out agrotechnical measures, measures for the organized and high-quality sowing of cotton, vegetables and melons. The Hakims informed about the progress of the works on the objects under construction in the velayats, including projects done within the framework of the implementation of the National Rural Development Program. Reports were given on practical steps to increase the capacity of production complexes, and activities in preparation for the upcoming significant dates. Summarizing the reports, the President of Turkmenistan noted that the plan of the forthcoming sowing of cotton and other crops should be addressed in a comprehensive manner. For the purpose of carrying out grain harvesting at a high organizational level, it is necessary to properly prepare the machinery for this important campaign, the Head of State said, addressing specific instructions to the hakims. The President of Turkmenistan ordered to keep the construction of the socio-cultural infrastructure of the regions under constant control, as well as to continue improving the living standards of the population. The leader of the nation also pointed to the need for a responsible approach to holding high-level upcoming celebrations on the occasion of significant events. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave a number of comments on the proposed project for the building “Turkmenin ak oyi” in the town of Nowruz yalasy on the territory of the Ahal velayat. The Head of State made appropriate adjustments to the project, noting that the design of the object should incorporate the traditions of national architecture and the best world experience. Through a direct video link, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers R. Bazarov reported on the progress of work on the country's agricultural lands, and the plan developed for the purpose of timely and high-quality sowing of cotton. The Vice Prime Minister informed about the steps being taken in the context of increasing the efficiency of the production complexes of the agroindustrial complex, improving the industrial infrastructure of the sphere, as well as increasing the pace of work to produce goods and develop processing industry. Focusing on the importance of coordinated development of all units of the agricultural complex, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the need to consistently introduce innovative methods and best practices in this field. The Head of State underlined the special importance of the Garlyk mining and processing enterprise for the production of potash fertilizers, built and commissioned in Lebap velayat, and industrialization of the country. In order to thoroughly study the features of potassium fertilizers that meet high international standards, appropriate seminars should be organized, the leader of the nation ordered. As the President of Turkmenistan noted, it is necessary to conduct joint work of teachers and researchers, scientists of higher educational institutions related to the agro-industrial complex, agricultural research institutes, and agricultural specialists. Then, Ashgabat hakim S. Durdyliyev reported via a direct video link about the state of affairs in the capital, measures for improvement, speeding up the construction of social infrastructure facilities, as well as preparing for the celebration of significant dates. Hakim informed about the works in preparation for the Asian Games-2017, including the progress of reconstruction, modernization of roads, park areas and buildings. Noting that it is necessary to keep issues of improvement and maintenance of cleanliness in the main city of the country under constant control, the Head of State emphasized the particular relevance of these works in the context of the preparations for the 5th Asian Games. Then the Minister of Education P. Agamyradov was summoned to the video-selector meeting, reporting on the work on improving the education system, training highly qualified personnel, introducing modern educational methods and advanced technologies. The President of Turkmenistan noted that with the development of the economy and creation of new production capacities, the demand for specialists in relevant areas is growing. In this context, the Head of State instructed to intensify the work on the authorization of diplomas of Turkmen citizens receiving correspondence education in higher educational institutions of foreign countries. Pointing out in particular to study in detail the issues related to technical training, the leader of the nation ordered to take the necessary measures in this direction.
