Addressing the mass media on the outcomes of Turkmen – Belarusian talks in Ashgabat, President Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus highly appreciates the successes of Turkmenistan in social and economic development. The Leader of the friendly state highlighted that steadfast course of the Turkmenistan Government in realization of creative policy aimed at the prosperity of the people is highly respected. The similarity of approaches to solution of internal and foreign issues predetermined the cooperation of Belarus and Turkmenistan both in bilateral and multilateral formats, President Alexander Lukashenko said. Giving utterance to the results of high-level meeting, the Head of the Republic of Belarus mentioned that both states seek for mutual respect and equal cooperation with all partners without any limitations. Turkmenistan and Belarus cooperate as friends and fraternal people. High-ranking guest noted that productive intergovernmental, inter-parliamentarian, interdepartmental partnership is established between our countries and that brings the results. The current visit of Belarusian side is a momentous one and marked by the opening of Garlyk ore-dressing and processing plant and new complex of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus. This is the best evidence of mutual intents to work for serious long-term perspective. The negotiations confirmed for another time that our states are strategic partners. We will take maximum efforts for bilateral cooperation, which is distinguished by high level, to prosper, to develop and to consolidate what meets the interests of both countries and people, President Alexander Lukashenko said. Having expressed the gratitude to his Turkmen colleague for the hospitality and cordiality, the Head of Republic of Belarus highlighted that he would look forward to meet President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Minsk.
