President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko took part in the opening of the new building of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Ashgabat. To the applause of the participants of the ceremony, the Heads of State cut the traditional ribbon and got acquainted with the new office of the Embassy, where diplomats have all necessary conditions for the fruitful work. The new building of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus is a symbol of the long-term nature of the progressively developing Turkmen-Belarusian dialogue. It rose in the southern part of the Turkmen capital, on the territory of the embassy town, where diplomatic missions of several countries had already moved. All buildings of diplomatic missions are designed in harmony with the general appearance of the white marble Ashgabat. In May last year, with the participation of the heads of the two states, a new building of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus was solemnly opened in Minsk. The work of the Embassies in Ashgabat and Minsk will always be subordinated to the main goals - to strengthen the relations of friendship and mutual understanding between countries, to develop business partnerships, to promote contacts between citizens of states and public organizations. Today, all conditions and opportunities have been created for this, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said at the opening ceremony. The heads of state took part in the tree planting ceremony held on the site in front of the administrative building of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus.
