Production capacities of the new unit, recently put into operation at “Serdar” cotton mill in Kaka district, are expected to produce 1300 tons of cable-spun cotton yarn every year. New production lines will use the equipment of SSM (Switzerland) and Saurer (Germany) companies. Production of cable yarn in such quantities will allow the industry’s enterprises to master the production of modern hosiery and terry products, as well as produce high quality fabrics for sewing male shirts. Re-equipment of enterprises is targeted at expansion of the product range; increase in production volumes of domestic goods; increase of competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets.
