During the state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the exposition of the National Museum in Astana. The complex of the National Museum of Kazakhstan includes 11 rooms with a total exhibition area of more than 14 thousand square meters. The light-music show was presented to the attention of the President of Turkmenistan, where the screen was a huge 3D map of Kazakhstan, on which architectural and historical sights, landscapes, and images of individuals who contributed to the development of the country were projected. A special place in the museum is occupied by the triptych ""Mengilik El"", which is the creation of famous Kazakh artists. This work reflects the history and modern time of the Kazakh people. The Turkmen leader visited the Writing Gallery and the Hall of Gold, where findings from the mounds of Taldy-2, Issyk, Taksai, the Jarma treasure and other unique artifacts are presented. The head of state also visited the hall of ethnography, dedicated to the material and spiritual culture of the Kazakh people, the traditional way of its life. For example, the traditional felt portable house presented in the exposition, which, as President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted, like a yurt for the Turkmen, is one of the cultural dominants expressing various aspects of social and family relations. Further, the head of Turkmenistan visited the hall of Independent Kazakhstan, which reflects the history of the country since the proclamation of independence by the republic in 1991 and to this day. In addition to the symbols of statehood, the hall presents awards, banknotes, stamps and materials showing the development of the economy, science and culture, implementation of reforms, construction of new industry, and achievements of foreign policy. In the hall of Astana President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was presented with a collection of exhibits reflecting the history of the emergence, formation and development of Astana as the capital of independent Kazakhstan. Rapid development and architectural beauty are the main features that bring together the Turkmen and Kazakh capitals, which are now linked by sister ties.
