President of Turkmenistan Calls Upon to Create the Research Center for Ahalteke Equine Studies at the Turkmen State Agricultural University

At the session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov called upon to create the Research Center for Ahalteke Equine Studies, and noted that the country has the necessary advanced equestrian and industrial infrastructure to facilitate its activity. Speaking of the upcoming Turkmen Horse Day, the head of state stressed that the country has created the physical facilities for breeding and dressage of the “heavenly horses”; hosting races and international tournaments. The national leader emphasized the necessity of deepening research works in the sphere of national horse-breeding. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also voiced the initiative of creating the Academy of Ahalteke Horse-Breeding in Turkmenistan, and charged the relevant senior officials to elaborate on the work.
