President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih. During a meeting, the positive development dynamics of trade, economic, humanitarian and cultural relations was pointed out. Among the promising areas of cooperation were referred to the transport and communications sectors, as well as the construction, chemical and other industries. A separate topic of the conversation was strengthening cooperation in the oil and gas sector. Saying that in implementing its energy policy Turkmenistan relies on innovative technologies, and products of the latest scientific and technical progress, as well as the participation of leading world companies and attraction of foreign investments, the head of state offered the partners from Saudi Arabia to consider in detail the possibilities of carrying out joint projects in this key sectors for the national economies of both countries. Another emphasis was made on the appropriateness of holding regular business meetings and business forums between state institutions and private entities. A meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Turkmenistan Khalid bin Faisal Al-Sahli.
