President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain sent the letter to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov in which on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan he expressed his sincere and best regards on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries. As is marked in the letter, Pakistan and Turkmenistan are connected with close and goodwill relations based on the historical, spiritual and cultural commonalities. Pakistan is interested in the further strengthening of bilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan in all areas including political, energy power, cultural and other spheres. It is underlined that joint efforts for intensification of interstate relations on a bilateral and multilateral basis, including in the area of the largest international and regional organisations, in particular the Organization of Economic Cooperation, will promote successful realisation of the target plans.
