President of Asia Swimming Federation Sends Letter to President of Turkmenistan

President of Asia Swimming Federation, Khalid B. Al Sabah, sent a letter to the President of Turkmenistan, President of the Organizing Committee of the 5th Asian Games, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. In his letter, on behalf of the Asia Swimming Federation, he expresses sincere gratitude for the high level of organization of the first Central Asian Short Course Swimming Tournament that took place on 24-28 April 2017 in Ashgabat. The letter states that the national teams from Afghanistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan that participated in the tournament were accorded warm hospitality. The letter also highlights the great success in building such a unique sports infrastructure as the complex of facilities of the Ashgabat Olympic Village, and in developing sports and promoting healthy lifestyle. Sheik Al Sabah also expressed his admiration with the amazing scenery of Turkmenistan’s capital.
