In Turkmenistan on the eve of celebration the Day of Constitution and poetry of Mahtumkuli Fragi, the monument of the original architectural form was opened in honor of the great Turkmen poet and thinker in the border province of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. As participants of the ceremony have emphasized the imperishable poetry of Makhtumkuli Fragi, his humanistic ideals and covenants serve as an exemplary school of wisdom, high spirituality and morality. The poems of the great poet-thinker with calls for unity, cohesion, humanism, his immortal statements, have become an integral part of universal human values, including the Afghan people. The gathered marked that the current event will also serve to strengthen relations between the two neighboring states, whose peoples are bound by the original ties of brotherhood and spiritual kinship, having become another vivid example of the inviolability of the traditions of friendship and good-neighborliness.
