The XVI International Universal Exhibition ""White City - Ashgabat"", organized by the Ashgabat Hakimlik and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country, has opened in the capital of Turkmenistan. This year, more than 100 domestic and foreign companies and enterprises presented their products here. Heads of Mejlis, members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, representatives of ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country, public organizations, residents and numerous guests of the capital took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition. In the demonstration halls the whole spectrum of the vital activity of the modern metropolis is represented - from the modernization of the city infrastructure to the development of the sphere of culture, tourism and sport. The international forum presents high-tech equipment, tools, modern construction and finishing materials, computer and communication capabilities, achievements in the food industry, success in solving environmental issues, developing sport and tourism, scientific, human and cultural potential. In other words: everything that forms the image of a big city. The departments of the sphere of communication and transport developed their stands as the most important element of the city economy. The sections represented by the agro-industrial complex, trade and many others are of great interest to visitors of the exhibition. A large area was occupied by expositions devoted to the preparation of the country's main city for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which will be held in Ashgabat in September this year. The decoration of the present review was the mascot of the Asian Games-2017 - Alabai Vepaly. Their opportunities are demonstrated by domestic entrepreneurs in various fields - from the agricultural and food industries to the construction of houses, modern industrial enterprises and the production of building materials. The most ""flourishing"" was the pavilion of the city of Ashgabat, where bright spring colors of the capital's flower beds and bosques were an excellent frame of urban architectural landscapes. The foreign exhibitors of the exhibition ""White City - Ashgabat"" included organizations and companies involved in the implementation of joint projects in the field of urban development and industry, as well as road and transport infrastructure. Leading partners of Turkmenistan - Bouygues Turkmen, Polimeks, NATA, Gap Inşaat and others presented models of construction projects, innovative developments and technologies. Opportunities and proposals for cooperation are demonstrated by companies that are interested in establishing business contacts. In line with world trends, special emphasis is placed on environmentally friendly systems and energy-saving technologies. Tomorrow the exhibition will continue its work.
