High-altitude flagstaff was erected in Mary

Solemn opening of new 100-meter high flagstaff was held in the administrative center of Mary province. It was situated on one of the central squares of administrative center of the province on the coast of ancient Murgap, combining harmoniously with ensemble of new urban architectural sights – Rukhiyet Palace, building of the State Drama Theatre named after Kemine, complex of vilayet library, majestic mosque of Gurbanguly Hajji. Construction of high-rise facilities is the special engineering-technical category. While designing of Mary project, it was taken into account many factors, including natural – the wind and seismic loads. The colour cloth raised on its top weights hundreds of kilograms. The highest – 133-meter flagstaff was set in the capital of our Motherland – white-marbled Ashgabat and inscribed into Guinness Book of Records in 2010.
