President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a working meeting by direct video communication with participation of deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers who supervises the spheres of construction and power energy, khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city. Issues of the grain-harvesting campaign and preparation for the Week of Culture to be held in Ashgabat were put on the agenda. The head of the state listened to reports of khyakims of velayats on the state of affairs in regions, measures for the acceleration of pace of wheat harvesting campaign, agro-technical actions for care of cotton and other agricultural crops. Pointing out the importance of completion of grain harvesting campaign fully and within optimum terms, the leader of the nation gave a number of commissions on increase of efficiency of use of technics, transportation and grain storage and quality care of cotton. The head of the state stated the low pace of the harvesting season in a number of etraps of velayats, having demanded to take measures to correct the situation. The khyakim of Ashgabat reported on the state of affairs in the capital, having emphasised activities for accomplishment, acceleration of pace of construction of projects and preparation for the forthcoming Week of Culture. Vice-premier of the Cabinet of Ministers D.Amangeldiev reported on the measures for development of Ashgabat and celebration of significant dates. The leader of the nation gave a number of the instruction, concerning a complex approach to the accomplishment of the capital, maintenance of exemplary cleanliness and favourable ecological conditions. President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov commissioned him to provide high organizational level of preparation for the Week of Culture.
