President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov sent his condolences to the President of the Republic of Portuguese Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa in connection with the last forest fire, which caused numerous human causalities, mutilation and destruction. On behalf of the people and the government of Turkmenistan and also on his own behalf, the head of the state conveyed words of deep sympathy and support during this critical moment to families, relatives of the dead and wishes of the soonest recovery to victims.
