President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic Tugrul Yildirim. Greeting the Head of State and expressing appreciation for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the guest on behalf of the leadership of his country and on his own behalf congratulated the Turkmen leader on his anniversary - the 60th birthday, wishing health, prosperity and new great successes in promoting Turkmenistan among the most developed countries of the world. Thanking for the congratulations and kind words, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that, being committed to the policy of peace, good-neighborliness and wide fruitful cooperation, which meets the interests of the common well-being, our country attaches great importance to strengthening and developing traditionally friendly relations with the countries of the world, including Turkish Republic. During the meeting, the Head of Turkmenistan and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey exchanged views on the prospects for partnership. The parties noted the growing dynamics of trade, economic, humanitarian and cultural contacts, expressing support for the intensification of cooperation, which includes a number of major joint projects implemented and being implemented now. Other topical directions of development, named during the meeting, include tourism industry and modern information technologies.
