President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has had a telephone talk with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The head of Kazakhstan extended warm wishes to the nation’s leader on his 60th birthday, having wished him good health, well-being and success in his versatile activities as President of the country. Sincerely grateful to his Kazakh counterpart for the birthday wishes, the head of state has noted with satisfaction that today the relations between the two countries are taking on a more dynamic and progressive character. The parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation given the agreements reached earlier and enormous untapped potential for cooperation. President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has invited the head of Kazakhstan to take part in the opening ceremony of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. Appreciative of the invitation, President Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that Kazakh athletes will undoubtedly participate in the 2017 Asian Games.
