Regular issue of historical, documentary, scientific and methodological magazine «Türkmen arhiwi» of the General Archive Department under the Cabinet of Ministers was published. Special place in the issues is given to the most important social and political events taking place in the country. Speeches of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov of large forums, set of official materials, reviews of the works of the Head of the State were published there. Great part of the materials is dedicated to archive service of the country. Ministries, departments, establishments, organizations and enterprises are the main source of the formation of National Archive Fund of Turkmenistan (NAFT). The documents appeared within the course of their work reflect historical experience, political, economic and legal basis of the State development, achievements of national science and culture. As the result of fundamental reforms in the country, the composition and content of traditional documentation are changed. New forms of records management receives new wider development with implementation of computer technologies. The main objective of the personnel of this Service in modern conditions remains the same - the safekeeping of the NAFT. Coordinated work of archives and relative structural subdivisions of different level is required to solution of this objective. The series of methodological articles is dedicated to this subject. The magazine also has materials on positive experience of the work of archive offices of Ahal, Mary and Lebap velayats, activity of self-sustained structures involved in acquisition of National Archive Fund. Some of sections of the List of template documents published in the magazine are valuable for the specialists. This reference section is designed for use in organizations, which file their documentation regardless of the purpose, level and scale in branch system and form of ownership. Integrated and scientific approach to study of the history, protection and popularization of material and cultural heritage in the world is one of the priority objectives. In this regard, the magazine includes the articles, topical reviews of the documents with comments of the specialists on ethnography of Turkmen nation based on the materials of the 20-30s of the XX century as well as on organization of flourmill production in Ahal Oasis in the end of the XIX – beginning of the XX centuries. It will be interested for the readers to meet the article on the viziers of one of the mighty ruler of the State of Great Seljuks - Togrul Bek. Based on analysis of documentary materials, the author reproduced the images of the most famous high-ranking dignitaries who played an outstanding role in ruling of the Empire like Abdul Kasym Buzgana, Abu Abdullah Hussein Bin Ali Bin Mikhayila, Abu Muhammet Dehistana, Amyddymulk Al Kundura. The publication about written sources on the history of Turkmenistan is also very informative. The pages of the magazine contain the materials about famous specialist in Turkic philology, literature expert Myati Kosayev, outstanding ethnographer Annadurdy Orazov, theatre and movie celebrity Muhammed Cherkezov, national writer Kara Seyitliyev, researcher of national heritage Umur Esenov. The issue of the magazine published the articles of formation of Turkmen cinematography and national musical art, about the history of foundation of the State Koytendag Natural Reserve and the Museum of Bayramaly Culture House. Regular issue includes large set of different photo materials from the funds of the Central State Archive of cinema, photo and phonographic documents of Turkmenistan. The magazine, published in Turkmen and Russian languages, is addressed to the specialists and at the same time meant for wide public.
