Today, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov was acquainted with the progress of the implementation of the Ashgabat Redevelopment Program’s 15th phase. In general, there will be constructed 208 two-storied one-family cottages, eighteen 12-storied and sixteen 3- and 4-storied buildings and the corresponding social infrastructure objects, including shopping centers, kindergarten, school, etc. The large area is rendered suitable for new buildings in the capital’s southwestern part, which currently creates a qualitatively new urban environment. The project construction of the 15th phase was assigned to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. As for the cottages, their layout was made in two versions: under the project or in compliance with future owner wishes. All houses have built-in garages, necessary engineering and utility services rooms, and also heat-insulated attics. 350-square-meter cottages are distinct in original architecture, upon their erection there were used modern ecologically clean building, finishing and roofing materials, such as lightweight aggregate concrete and gas-concrete blocks, ceramic granite, roof tile and etc. Houses are equipped with necessary self-sufficient systems, including heating and conditioning. For housing construction, there were used exceptionally domestic building materials, produced according to the latest techniques. Furnishing the kitchens was also accomplished by private enterprises – members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Modern 48- and 72-apartment “skyscrapers” conform to high comfort level in all respects. The apartments of these 12-storied new buildings differ in high ceilings and an enlarged accommodation area. Houses are hooked up to the centralized heating and air conditioning systems. The adjacent area provides facilities for public event execution, and placement of children’s playgrounds. Dwellers of 3- and 4-storied comfortable houses are guaranteed a full range of modern facilities. Each of them has an elevator. Eight 3-storied buildings have six spacious apartments of improved design, the total area of each is over 222 square meters. Basement provides a large room that can be used for weight room or storage. Eight 4-storied buildings will house eight 253-square-meter apartments. Parking lots, adjacent to the houses are at dwellers’ disposal. In concept of architects and designers of the Ashgabat Redevelopment Program’s 15th phase, park zone will run across the central part of the new housing complex. And the transport-communication infrastructure will provide ease of communications with other parts of the city. Getting acquainted the major metropolitan residential area and level of its readiness for the upcoming housewarming, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov emphasized a pronounced social directivity of town-planning conception, being implemented in Ashgabat, and targeted the people’s decent life support in all respects and the favorable urban environment formation. In recent years, thousands of Ashgabat residents have already become the owners of wonderful apartments in the magnificent residential buildings, adorning a rapidly changing architectural ensemble of the country’s main city.
