Early in the morning, Turkmen Leader arrived to sport complex Avaza that suppllemnted infrastructure of comfortable international class resort where the Head of the State was met by the Chairperson of the Mejlis, members of the Government, leaders of military and law enforcement agencies and Hyakim of Balkan region. In the conversation, the President of Turkmenistan drew the attention of on the subjects of social and economic development of the western region of the country including further implementation of large-scale project of Avaza national tourist zone, which owing to its universal character offers wide choice of different recreation activities to Turkmen citizens and foreign guests. Speaking of the importance of the development of mass physical training culture and sports, stimulation of the achievements of high sport results, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave number of instructions for realization of measures aimed at active involvement of personnel of all branches, especially the youth, to physical training and sports movement. After, the Head of the State visited the gym of the sport complex. It is remarkable that this multifunctional sports village has all the conditions for training of Turkmen athletes, preparation of sportsmen and national teams to Asian and World championships, the Olympic Games as well as for different competitions including the one of international level. Avaza sports complex with most advanced profile equipment from the leading world’s manufacturers has all necessary for team, water and winter sports and martial arts. Multifunctional gym apparatus provide efficient training for all groups of users like professional sportsmen and amateurs as well as for different age categories. It is worth mentioning that some of equipment of the sport complex have no analogues in the region. Having made several exercises in the gym, the Head of the State demonstrated an excellent physical training. After, the President of Turkmenistan went to martial arts section where he had a conversation with Chairperson of the Mejlis A. Nurberdiyeva and Vice-Premier A. Garajayev, having laid special emphasis on further improvement and development of national sport system, consolidation of equipment and facilities base of this sphere, broad popularization of sports of high achievements. In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan mentioned the necessity of coordinated work of sports, educational, propaganda, cultural and information structures. The Head of the State went to the boxing hall. While being there, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave number of objectives for activation of mas sport events as well as pointed the attention on the importance of steadfast measures for consolidation of principles of healthy life style in organizations, enterprises and working communities. Speaking of the importance of integrated approach to construction of departmental sport facilities meeting high international standards, the head of the State noted that it is necessary to undertake systematic work in order to achieve specific results in sports. Having stated with delight high level of technical provision of Avaza sport complex, the Leader of the Nation noted the necessity of efficient use of modern sports equipment and appliances, which can be accessed to all and addressed concrete assignments to relative leaders in this regard. Having highlighted the importance of the development of mass physical training movement and sports of high achievement, the Head of the State and wished success in large-scale work in this direction to the participants left the complex. *** While being on holiday on the Caspian coast, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dedicated his day to the arts where he was joined by his grandchildren Kerimguly, Ysmayil and Rahim. Coaching and imparting his grandsons to different directions of art, the Head of the State told them about glorious centuries-old history of national art, about the importance of song and musical folklore and the role of prominent performers – the bakhshys, in the development of the art.
