Upon arrival from Avaza National Tourist zone, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held offsite session of the Cabinet of Ministers at International Airport of the capital. The main subjects of the discussion were the key directions of social and economic development of the country, preparation issues of Ashgabat 2017 Games as well as planned sports and mass public events in the capital on July 29 on occasion of 50-day countdown until coming continental competitions in the capital. Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, leaders of the Mejlis, military and law enforcement agencies, hyakims of Ashgabat and Ahal Velayat were invited to the session. Having mentioned that 50 days left until the beginning of V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, the Head of the State highlighted that proper maintenance of roads, living houses and adjoining territories, children playgrounds and sports facilities has to be the matters of special attention. It is necessary to establish special centre for conducting of regular sessions for prompt response to arising issues in order to provide high organizational level of the Games Ashagabt 2017, - the President has said. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers S. Toyliyev reported on the measures undertaken for preparation of V Asian Games and the programme of the events planned on occasion of 50-day countdown until the beginning of these sports competitions. Information on mass public cycling race will take place of July 29 and limitation of the traffic on the roads related to this event was given during the report. Large-scale action that will involve all regions of the country will also have an ecological effect. Having stressed the attention on the necessity of high level of the cycling raid, the Head of State noted that relative cultural programme have to prepared. The importance of attraction of the public as well as support of discipline and order were highlighted. After, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister R. Meredov informed on international events planned under preparation V Asian Games as well as on the coming foreign working visits of the country’s Government delegations. In this regard, the Head of the State addressed the assignments to the Vice-Premier, Head of the MFA on preparation to planned near-term visits. Highlighting the importance of cultural and mass public events under preparation to Ashgabat 2017 Games, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made special mention that successes achieved by the country have to be reflected in these games. During offsite session, the Head of the State drew the attention on the works held on agricultural fields of the country and requested to approach the issues of improvement of land fertility and implementation of advanced practices and innovative methods to agrarian branch with all responsibility as well as to the issues of increase of agricultural productions. Speaking of forthcoming cotton harvest campaign, the Head of the State highlighted that all regions have to provide proper organizational level of cotton harvesting and gave number of concrete assignments on this account. Turkmen leader pointed at the necessity of thorough preparation of the Council of the Elders. Making mention of the appropriateness of informative work on the agenda of the coming all-nation forum among the population, the President of Turkmenistan highlighted the the deputies of National Parliament have to demonstrate an activity n this direction. Having touched upon the subjects of development and beautification of the capital and further modernization of urban infrastructure, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov requested to provide stainless condition and favourable ecological environment in the capital. In this context, the importance of creation of new green zones, proper planning of the territories of new facilities, improvement of road and transport infrastructure and lighting systems was highlighted. Having emphasized that all works I this direction have to have an integrated character, Turkmen Leader addressed relative leaders with specific objectives. Large shipments of automobile transport were delivered to the capital to supplement the fleet of urban transport and to improve the quality and level of the service rendered to the passengers. New shuttle buses and taxis will start servicing the residents and guests of Ashgabat in near future. Having focused the attention on the importance of works carried out in different sectors of domestic fuel and energy complex, the Head of the State highlighted the necessity of activation of measures for improvement of export potential of the branch by production of new types of the goods required in the world’s markets and improvement of turnover from the investments to the industry development. The necessity of improvement of trade and service sphere was mentioned during the session. It is necessary to organize proper 24-hours work of the shops during V Asian Games, - President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has said. The Head of the State pointed at the necessity of high quality of textile production, which has to reflect the symbols of Ashgabat 2017 Games. At the end of the session, the President of Turkmenistan requested to prepare comprehensively to the extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers and the session of the State Security Council on the outcomes of 7 months of the current year in August.
