Conference hall of the International Surgery and Endocrinology Centre held the certificates award ceremonies of German Endocrinology Centre as well as of Health Care Fund to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Welcoming the guests of the country, the Head of the State has said that, Turkmenistan observes big holiday – the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, to which according to the tradition, the opening of new facilities is timed. The guests from other countries took part in current events, the Head of the State has said, having introduced Eni Sasko, the Doctor of Bordeaux University to the participants and given a floor for him to speak. Speaking to the participants, Doctor Eni Sasko noted growing activity in cooperation between Turkmenistan and foreign partners and international organizations in medical sphere. She has also highlighted the relation between the level of disease and environmental condition, having highly appreciated the efforts of Turkmenistan aimed at environmental protection, health of modern and future generations. These efforts are exemplary and can be a model for the governments and societies of many countries. Having expressed the gratitude for her speech, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave floor to Professor of Cologne University, Head of Endocrinology Department Rudolf Maise. Mr. Maise noted the establishment of effective model of national health protection on the base of modern infrastructure and best developments of the world’s science, provision of high quality medical services, development of protection of maternity and childhood, assertion of healthy life style in the society and popularization of sports among the main successes of our country. Turkmenistan demonstrates high level of political responsibility and example in these subjects, - Rudolf Maise has said. During the event, Turkmen leader was presented with the certificates confirming that one of the awards is given to the endocrinology and Surgery Centre for the best provision of such clinics in the Central Asia and other for high level of medical services rendered to the patients with diabetes. In reply, the President expressed cordial gratitude to the guests for the award of the certificates of German Diabetes Diseases Association and the Fund of Health Protection.
