The Head of the State addressed congratulation message to the personnel of energy industry on their professional holiday. Independent Turkmenistan, having huge resources of energy, is committed to high targets – to send these resources to systematic improvement of native people and to bring these resources to international energy markets for active integration to global economy, - the message says. Reliable and uninterrupted supply of domestic consumers, increase of export volumes of electrical energy are defined as the key directions of energy strategy, which is implemented in our country. Owing to construction of new and reconstruction of existing power stations and distribution systems, the volumes and quality of supply of domestic consumers have been significantly increased. Power supply of remote cities and villages have been considerably improved. New stations and high voltage power lines have been built to increase the volumes of energy supplies to fraternal Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. At present time, the construction of such facilities toward the Islamic Republic of Iran is carried out. There are large opportunities for supply of Turkmen energy to Tajikistan, Pakistan and India by transit via Afghanistan, - the message highlights. V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games are to be held in Ashgabat in September. Right after the Games, Turkmenistan will chair the Conference of the Energy Charter. These facts are the visual evidence of growing authority of the country. I am firmly confident that personnel of energy branch will work hard making deserving contribution to reliable energy supply of local consumers, to organized conduct of V Asian Games and the energy Charter Conference. At the end of the message, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that the state would take care of consolidation of equipment and facilities base of he branch, implementation of new technologies to the production and its provision with highly qualified personnel.
