President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon who arrived in Turkmen capital for participation in the opening events of V Asian Games. Congratulating Turkmen Leader on the beginning of Ashgabat 2017 Games, the President of Moldova noted that events of such scale supports the activation of international relations and establishment of the atmosphere of trust and understanding. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that Turkmenistan sees Moldova as a long-term partner and is willing to work for implementation of perspective projects n different spheres. Geographic locations of our countries allow playing an important role in development of transport corridors in Eurasian continent, the Head of the State continued. The Presidents of both states noted the presence of favourable opportunities for diversification of trade and economic partnership. The role of joint Intergovernmental Commission, which activity is oriented to maximum efficient implementation of the partnership potential, was highlighted. The sides spoke for the expansion of cooperation in cultural, scientific, education, tourism and sports spheres.
