The residential neighborhood, Parakhat-7/3 is being built in Ashgabat. The project envisages construction of 27 nine-story residential buildings. Four of them have already been commissioned; fifteen buildings are currently under construction; preparations are well underway for another eight apartment buildings planned for construction. The construction project is financed from the State Budget funds allocated to the Ashgabat khyakimlik. Along with that, Aga Gurluşyk, an individual enterprise, is building a 3,000-capacity Hezreti Omar mosque in Parakhat-7. In the western part of the residential neighborhood Parakhat 7/1, the Wholesale and Retail Trade Center project carried out by members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan is drawing to an end. In the other part of the city, the residential area Choganly, enterprises of the capital’s khyakimlik are constructing 230 two-story cottages funded from long-term bank credits given to the population. 120 cottages are expected to be completed this December, and another 110 cottages – in February 2018. On Garry Kulyev Street, areas of land have been distributed to members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs for construction of offices and trade enterprises. The projects are financed by Turkmen entrepreneurs from their own funds.
