President of Turkmenistan, who is currently on working trip to Balkan velayat, paid the visit to multifunctional sport complex Avaza and made bicycle ride around the sea resort. In the morning, the Head of the State arrived to the sport complex, as usual having started the working day with warming-up and sport exercises. The President made the series of exercises on sport apparatus in the gym of the sport complex. Recently, large attention is paid in Turkmenistan to the development of the cycle racing, which is recognized as environmentally friendly sports that attracts greater number of Turkmenistan citizens. Mass cycle races and competitions are organized annually in the country by the initiative of the Head of the State. The Head of the State demonstrated the skills of virtuosic combination of playing basketball and bicycle riding during the sport exercise in Avaza sport complex when riding the bicycle he used to make a dash and put the ball right to the basket. Nowadays, large attention is paid in the country to support the health of the population and creation of the conditions for mass involvement to physical training what bring positive results. It became the rule recently to create wide opportunities to do physical training and sports in all regions of the country and especially in Avaza National tourist zone what is supported by modern sport complexes built there. Great success in health protection of the population and implementation of the principles of healthy life style to public consciousness has been achieved owing to selfless activity of the Head of the State. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov shows to all of us especially to the youth by personal example how active physical training and sport are important and useful. Having made number of exercises on gym machines, the President again demonstrated an excellent physical fitness – the result of regular doing of different sport disciplines. At present time, all conditions for doing sports and physical training as well as attraction of the vacationers to this are made in Avaza National tourist zone and other regions of the country. As the Head of the State noted this work is the most important condition for provision of active holidays. After the work-out in the gym and basketball and volleyball competitions, the Head of the State made a cycle ride around the sea resort. During the cycle ride around Avaza, the Head of the State paid special attention to the importance of careful treatment of the environment and support of favourable ecological situation as the main orientation of Avaza resort is the health-improving one what is dictated by the unique climate conditions of the sea region and presence of healing hydro mineral resources. Thus, all massive works carried out there promotes the making of favourable climate for the health of people. In this context, the President noted the appropriateness of more active use of the bicycles in Avaza, which is considered as the most environmentally friendly transport. After cycle ride along the cost, the Head of the State enjoyed the sea view and picturesque views of Avaza. Large-scale works that were initiated there would be continued and all conditions would be made for protection of the ecology of this beautiful nature, the Head of the State said. Having addressed specific orders to relative leaders, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left the place of event.
