The Third International Theater Festival has ended in Ashgabat with a dramatic spectacle at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater.

At the session of the Government on November 22, Vice-premier Bahargul Abdiyeva informed the Head of the State about results of seasonal archaeologic excavations carried out at historical and cultural monuments of the country in 2019 and about handing over of discovered artefacts to museums.

The grand opening of the III International Theatre Festival took place in Ashgabat. The festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, brought together 14 theatre groups representing 12 states, including Afghanistan, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Russia, the United States of America, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Estonia. Our country is represented by drama groups of leading theatres.

Programme of events on occasion of the Harvest Festival, which is observed on the second Sunday of November, is prepared.

Opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Armenia in Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat.
