Within the frameworks of continuing Culture week a premiere of “Ayna” opera has taken place in Rukhyyet Palace of Lebap velayat administrative enter – Turkmenabat.

Colorful solemnities, which marked the beginning of the Week of Culture, were held in Turkmenabat – administrative center of Lebap province. This large-scale action is held in our country for the third time and aimed at stimulation of creative activity and further development of national culture, its wide popularization in the world and integration into global cultural space.

The solemn ceremonies of presenting new books by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Türkmen medeniýeti” (Turkmen culture) and “Ile döwlet geler bolsa…” (Bagshi – messengers of people’s happiness) too place in the Lebap Velayat administrative centre within the fourth day of the Week of Culture.

The Week of Culture is going on in Turkmenabat. Program of its third day included the International Scientific Conference “Spiritual and cultural values of the Turkic people”, first show of performance “Seydi” of the State Music and Drama Theatre named after S. Seydi of Lebap province, joint performance of folk musicians, as well as concert with participation of masters of culture and art of Ashgabat and Akhal province. Solemnities on the occasion of opening of new facilities of urban infrastructure introduced their colors into bright palette of the Week of Culture.

Children’s song and dancing groups from different regions of the country arranged performances at the festively decorated square in front of the Ruhyet Palace within the second day of the Week of Culture in Turkmenabat.

Masters of culture and arts of Turkic people performed a concert in the Ruhyet Palace in Mary, that was declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2015. Popular singers, musicians and composers from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and two regions of the Russian Federation – Bashkiria and Tatarstan participated in the concert.

Last week, in the framework of the events timed to International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, an action was held near Bagabat settlement (Ak bugday etrap, Akhal velayat) on annihilating a large batch of drugs that was confiscated in the course of a series of successful special operations carried out jointly by the law-enforcement and defence agencies of Turkmenistan.

Last week, the capital’s expo-center «Sergiköşgi» hosted the building materials industry exhibition of the Republic of Turkey, which was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in association with the Turkish Company “Meridyen”.

Specialists of travel and hospitality industry from about 20 countries of different continents, notably the USA, Japan, China, Spain, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and others, took part in the international conference “Tourism – an ambassador of peace and the basis of relations” which was in held in Mary city.

In run up to the remarkable dates in life of the country, we are in expectations of significant book premieres. First of all, the talk is about releasing new books authored by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.
