The World Health Day, which is observed since 1950, is observed on April 7. The date was not chosen occasionally as on this day, the Chapter of the World Health Organization, which includes 194 state members at present, has entered into force back in 1948.

On the occasion of the World Health Day, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated the citizens of Turkmenistan, emphasizing that support of the physical and spiritual health of every citizen of our neutral country, development of sports, and strengthening the principles of a healthy lifestyle is a priority goal.
