Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conducted a working visit to Balkan velayat, during which he participated in the solemn commissioning ceremony of the new dry-cargo vessel Gadamly. The vessel was constructed at the "Balkan" shipbuilding and ship-repair factory in Turkmenbashi city.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a visiting session of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider the country’s socio-economic development, including Balkan velayat, and a number of other issues.

In order to significantly improve the supply of purified water to oil refinery production facilities and continue the construction of modern facilities equipped with advanced equipment that meets international standards, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.

In order to consistently continue large-scale reforms in the field of education, develop science and education in the areas of peace and neutrality, which are of great political and diplomatic significance, train qualified diplomatic personnel capable of adequately representing the interests of our country in the system of international relations, and further improve the activities of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution.

On May 7, 2026, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Mariam Kvrivishvili, who arrived in Turkmenistan on a visit.

Today, the fifth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Georgian Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in the capital, becoming an important stage in the implementation of agreements reached at the highest state level and confirming the commitment of both countries to long-term partnership.

Today, a ceremony was held at the «Mekan» Palace of the Ashgabat City Administration to present cash and valuable gifts to war veterans on the occasion of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, as well as to the spouses of fallen soldiers, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country general Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council to sum up the work of military and law enforcement bodies for four months of the current year. A number of issues, concerning security and tranquillity in our independent state and the strengthening of the material and technical basis of security structures and further perfection of their activity were also considered.

In accordance with Article 16 of the Law of Turkmenistan «On the Prosecutor’s Office of Turkmenistan», I decree:

By the decree of the President of Turkmenistan, Kasymov Yakupgeldi Gurbannyyazovich was dismissed from the post of director of the television and radio channel «Ýaşlyk» of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography.
