The events of the past week determined the promising directions for the development of the economy of our country, taking into account the ongoing large-scale programs aimed at industrialization, formation of high-tech industries, introduction of innovations and advanced developments into production. The tasks outlined by the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov to achieve high performance and bring each sphere to new frontiers of development aim at further prosperity of our Motherland, raising the standard of living of its people.

Last week, 30 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on labor leave on the Caspian coast, took part in the ceremony of laying the foundation of another important object of transport infrastructure – a new automobile bridge across the Garabogaz Kel Bay along the Turkmenbashi–Garabogaz–Kazakhstan border highway.

Turkmenistan believes that the trade, economic and investment cooperation of the Central Asian countries has to acquire today a strategic focus. To put it more precisely, it is necessary to turn into one of the foundations for shaping a new geo-economic landscape in Eurasia, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said in his speech at the Fourth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, held in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan on July 21.

Today, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a ceremony was held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone to honor athletes who won prizes in recent major international competitions - “the Silk Way-2022” rally-raid held in the Russian Federation, and the Asian Weightlifting Championship among juniors and youth, which took place last month in the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan - the city of Tashkent.

The past week has brought new evidence that, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, reform programs are being systematically and successfully implemented to ensure the sustainable development of independent neutral Turkmenistan, the strategic goal of whose domestic policy is expressed in the principle “The state is for the people!”.

A solemn opening ceremony for a new modern complex of cottages "Rowaç", which has replenished the resort infrastructure of the Avaza National Tourist Zone, was held today, on the Caspian coast, with the participation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on vacation.
