According to the Order of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov from October 12, 2018, the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs have privatized fishery facilities of the country and at present time, the reconstruction and modernization of their equipment and facility base are carried out. It was informed to the Head of the State by Vice-premier Chary Gylyjov on the session of the Government on April 25.

Visits of high-level delegations to our country and range of international events are planned in May.

Asian Boxing Championship in held in Bangkok (The Kingdom of Thailand) on April 16 – 27. 315 sportsmen from 35 countries contest for the medals of the tournament in different weight categories.

European Open Tai Boxing and Mix Fight Championship was held in Kharkov on April 22 - 26. Teams from 10 countries as well as Turkmenistan National team comprising of 16 sportsmen took part in the competitions.

Traditional equestrian marathon was held along the Kopetdag Avenue in foothill valley of the southern edge of the capital under the events timed to National Turkmen Horse Holiday, which is marked on the last Sunday of April.

Numerous residents and guests of the capital have gathered at the open arena of Ashgabat Equestrian Complex in the afternoon where show jumping competitions, one of the most spectacular Olympic sports, where ahalteke horse demonstrate good results.

Nowruz residential estate in Dashoguz hosted the events on occasion of commissioning of two multi-apartment house, which were built by construction department of local ferro concrete plant of the Türkmendemirbetonönümleri enterprise of the Türkmensenagat Agency.

Administration Centre of Hojambaz etrap in the eastern region of the country hosted opening ceremony of new building of communication department, which was built at request of the Ministry of Industry and Communication by local construction company. Personnel of communication department was congratulated by the representatives of velayat and etrap administration, public organizations, elders and numerous local residents.

Final round of artistic contest for artistic image of the beauty of ahalteke horses in works of visual, decorative and applied art, printing production, phots and TV channels was held in the Exhibition Hall of the State Arts Academy.

As it was informed at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers on April 19, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan together with the UN Development Programme has developed the project of improvement of trade potential of our country. This project was drafted according to the Framework Programme of cooperation with the United Nations Organization for 2016 – 2020, which outlines the main activities related to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
