Today, our independent neutral state is one of the countries that provides stability and security in the region, Turkmenistan is known in the world as competent state with dynamic economy, which is attractive for the investments, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said speaking at the session of the Government with the participation of the representative diplomatic corps of the country.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held extended New Year session of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of the representative of national diplomatic corps. Number of important subjects of home and foreign policy of the country has been reviewed at the session where representatives of the Mejlis, heads of diplomatic and consulate missions of our country accredited in foreign states, hyakims of the velayats as well as directors of universities, editors on newspapers, leaders of public organizations were invited.

Large sectoral and multisectoral economic forums have become one of the most powerful and meaningful forms of fruitful business dialogue. Timed to coincide with the 27th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, the Exhibition of Economic Achievements deserves particular attention in a 2018 overview.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Jumayev, Shohrat Durdygulyyevich, was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the French Republic. He was therefore dismissed from previously held posts of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Romania and to the Republic of Croatia.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Annayev, Annamammet Akmammedovich, was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Romania.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Ayazov, Muhammetgeldi Nurberdiyevich, was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Durdyyev, Parahat Hommadovich, was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the People’s Republic of China. He was therefore dismissed from the previously held posts of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of India, to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Amanmyradov, Nurberdi, was relieved of his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Ukraine, as well as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Moldova due to transfer to another office.

Under the Law of Turkmenistan on Diplomatic Service and with a view to further improving the organizational structure of the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the structure of the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Strengthening of international cooperation in transport and communication sector is one of the main aspects of the policy of Turkmenistan. In modern realities, transport communications are the main segments of the world economy making direct effect on the stability and balance of international economic relations. This was proven by International Forum “The Great Silk Road: Toward New Levels of Development”, which was held in Avaza national tourist zone in May of this year. High level meeting gathered together the representative of several foreign countries and competent organizations as well as big companies specialized in transport and logistics.
