In order to further improve the ongoing work on the implementation of the “Concept for development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan in 2019-2025” in the period of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, authorizing the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers to conclude a contract with “Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd.” (People’s Republic of China) for the purchase of equipment, software and licenses, as well as transportation, installation, commissioning and technical support thereof in the context of expanding the fixed telephone network in the velayats and the city of Ashgabat.

In order to scientifically substantiate the fundamental reforms ongoing in our independent Homeland in the period of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the implementation of scientific advances in the economy and the areas of science, education and culture, the study of the history, culture, art, language and literature of our people on a scientific basis, as well as the training of highly qualified specialists and scientific personnel, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, according to which the quotas for admission of graduate students for postgraduate studies, doctoral students for doctoral studies in scientific fields, registration of candidates for scientific degrees, as well as admission of hospital physicians to clinical residency training in 2023 were approved.

In order to efficiently use the industrial capacities of enterprises under the Ministry of Textile Industry, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution allowing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection to sell the fixed volume of various types of cotton fibre to the Ministry of Textile Industry at relevant prices for industrial processing.

With a view of creation of favourable conditions of celebration of the New Year holiday and good recreation of population, as well as in accordance with part 2 of article 81 of the Labour Code of Turkmenistan, I decree:
