President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held regular video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which current matters of the state policy and drafts of some documents have been reviewed.

For outstanding merits in enhancement of the world glory of ahalteke horses, in development of equestrian sports and horse breeding industry, improvement of livestock breeding, teaching of love to horse breeding art to young generation, the Mejlis of National Assembly of Turkmenistan decided to award President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the People’s Council of National Assembly Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with honorary title «Türkmenistanyň ussat halypa seýsi».

The Draft Plan of cooperation between Turkmenistan and international organizations for 2021 – 2023 has been developed. Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov has informed the head of the state about this at the last session of the Government.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to or country Qian Naicheng.

The opening ceremony of two big facilities – the Congress Center and Reception Center of Turkmenistan, as well as ceremonial session of International conference “International cooperation of independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan for peace and trust” took place in Turkmenistan with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In accordance with the Resolution of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Merettagan Taganov was relieved of his post as Deputy Minister of Justice due to his transfer to another job.

On the occasion of the holy month of Oraza, Servant of the Two Holy Places, King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdelaziz Al Saud, Sultan of Oman Hayesam bin Tariq, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani, Crown Prince, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdel Aziz Al Saud addressed congratulatory messages to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the people of Turkmenistan.

The opening ceremony of the office of the People’s Council, which hosted the first session of new chamber of National Assembly of Turkmenistan of the first convocation, was held in Ashgabat. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has taken part in the events.

By the Resolution of the People’s Council of National Assembly, according to Articles 11 and 18 of the Law of Turkmenistan on National Assembly of Turkmenistan and by the results of secret voting during the first session of the People’s Council of National Assembly of the first convocation held on April 14, 2021, Kasymguly Babayev has been elected as the Chairman of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan.

By the Resolution of the People’s Council of National Assembly the People’s Council of National Assembly and according to the Articles 10 and 18 of the Law of Turkmenistan on National Assembly and by the results of secret voting during the first session of the People’s Council of National Assembly of the first convocation held on April 14, 2021, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has been elected as the Chairman of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan.
