Telephone conversation of between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamed Al Thani was held yesterday.

The President of Turkmenistan has signed the Resolution, having assigned the Trade and Industrial chamber together with relative ministries and departments to organize International exhibition and events under its program on high level in honour of glorious 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of the country.

For further enhancement of the glory of ahalteke horses, which are national pride and heritage of Turkmen people, in the age of might and happiness as well as for high-level organization of the events on occasion of National Turkmen Horse Celebration, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having permitted the State Association Türkmenatlary to enter into contract with Berk ýol Business Entity for reconstruction of racing track and laying of new paving in Mary Equestrian Complex.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having assigned to hold International Conference “Policy of Neutrality and its Significance in Provision of Global Peace, Security and Sustainable Development” on high organizational level in Ashgabat on December 12, 2020.

Today, representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Population, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan have participated in the Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) Forum on Regional Cooperation to Support Socioeconomic Recovery in the Wake of COVID-19, which is taking place via videoconferencing.

The International Bureau of Exhibitions (BIE) jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, with the participation of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France organized a specialized online seminar from Paris for Turkmen public sector specialists. The seminar, which was held from November 16 to 18, 2020, brought together specialists from ministries and government agencies, business structures, as well as students of two Ashgabat universities - the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International University of Humanities and Development of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

Representatives of Turkmenistan are currently taking part in the G-Global. The World of the 21st Century International Congress, co-organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the World Leadership Alliance-Club de Madrid, the BBC World News, etc.

Regular meeting of the secretaries of security councils of the CIS country members – Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, has been held with participation of the Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee and the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

Video conference meeting with General Director of the UN Office at Geneva, General Secretary of the Disarmament Conference Mrs Tatiana Valovaya was held in the Foreign Ministry.

The meeting with Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden Mrs Ann Linde has been held in video conference format in the foreign department of the country. Diplomats have discussed wide range of bilateral matters and shared the views on regional and international agenda during the session.
