On occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, instructing the relevant officials to arrange the International Ahalteke Horse Beauty Contest as well as contests among painters, sculptors, carpet-makers, jewelers, photographers, workers of publishing houses, designers, teleoperators for the artistic embodiment of the beauty of horses in works of fine and decorative arts, printed materials, photographs and television channels in Ashgabat on April 25, 2020.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed number of Resolutions aimed at activation of work of relative ministries and departments of the country for fulfilment of important objectives in natural protection sphere and expansion of cooperation with competent international organizations in this direction.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Office at Geneva (Swiss Confederation, Geneva), Haljanov Atageldy Baijanovich is appointed as the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Office in Nairobi (UNON) (the Republic of Kenya), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) (Geneva).

At the request of President of the Azerbaijan Republic, Ilham Aliyev, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov participated in the Summit of the Turkic Council held in a format of videoconference.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where current issues of the state life has been reviewed.

The Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan carries out integrated work for development of cooperation with international organizations. At present time, practical measures are taken for realization of initiatives of Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for expansion of cooperation in this direction, which were made at the 74th session of the UN General Assembly and International Conference in Ashgabat on January 14 this year. Vice-premier, Foreign Minister R. Meredov informed the President on work in this direction at the session of the Government on April 10.

78th session of Interstate Coordination Water Management Committee of International Fund for Saving of Aral Sea with participation of the heads and specialists of profile ministries and departments of Central Asian states including the State Water Management Committee of Turkmenistan was held in video conference format.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov participated in an extraordinary summit of the Turkic Council held in a format of videoconference.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a tour around the capital, having inspected the situation at big construction sites.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working session with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers P. Agamyradov and Ministry of education M. Geldiniyazov.
