With the aim to further develop trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea, as well we to enhance mutually beneficial partnership between business circles in Turkmenistan and Korea, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing the proposal of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan on the membership of the Turkmen-Korean Business Council under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

The solemn ceremony of awarding President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the medal “For Merits in the Development of Humanitarian Cooperation” of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States (IFES) took place upon completion of the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State.

“The agenda of the meeting includes the Address of the CIS Heads of State to the peoples of the Commonwealth and the world community on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the 1941-1945Great Patriotic War”, said the President of Turkmenistan, speaking at the Summit of CIS Heads of State, emphasizing that this date is sacred to all of us.

Speaking during the Summit of CIS Heads of State, the President of Turkmenistan underlined that Turkmenistan supported the proposal of the Russian Federation to extend the term of office of Sergey Lebedev for another three-year period.

Speaking at a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov specified the interstate humanitarian cooperation among the priority areas of cooperation.
