Structures of the People’s Council as a representative chamber of National Council, which composition is 56 people, has been reviewed at the session of the Constitution Commission of Turkmenistan.

The draft of the Constitutional Law “On the Introduction of Amendments and Additions to the Constitution of Turkmenistan” was discussed during the meeting of the Constitutional commission under the chairmanship of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The sixth meeting of authorized representatives of Caspian state on discussion of the Draft Protocol on Cooperation in provision of safe navigation in Caspian Sea has finished in the capital.

“Since the establishment of the Constitutional Commission of Turkmenistan, specific work has been done to study and summarize the proposals on amendments and additions to the Constitution”, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said at a meeting of the Constitutional Commission.

Session of the Constitutional Commission chaired by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was held in Ashgabat.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working session dedicated to development of national cultural and art sphere and improvement of activity of mass media.

Presentation of the UN Development Programme Global Report on Human Development in 2019 took place in the Yildiz Hotel. Representatives of ministries and departments of the country, public organizations, teachers of high educational institutes, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan and international organizations took part in the forum.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers who supervises agricultural complex, hyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat. The agenda included issues of social and economic development of the regions and capital, works in agricultural sector and other urgent aspects of the state and social life.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayip Erdogan in relation with earthquake in the east of the country, which caused human victims, injuries and major destructions.
